Welcome to Leadership & Management Essentials
Our first day of training is on August 28th, 2019. We look forward to meeting you and working together with you and your colleagues on the 28th.
To help you gain the most from the training, we ask that you take part in the Professional Practices Survey (PPS) feedback process, described in the next section.
PPS Feedback Process
An important and rewarding part of your L&ME program on August 28th will include receiving feedback based on questionnaires to be completed by colleagues of your choice. The feedback process is confidential and only you will see your results.
To collect the feedback data, please select at least three, and up to ten, colleagues to become your questionnaire respondents. For respondent selection tips please see Section 3 below.
A reminder: the cutoff date for receiving completed questionnaires is August 23rd. Collecting data can take time, so please respond with your lists as soon as possible to help ensure that you receive a feedback report during the program.
1. Submit a list of your respondents and their email addresses to us as soon as possible.
Simply complete and click “submit” on the form below, which requests the names and email addresses of each of your respondents. (For any questions you may have, please contact: prework@innubilus.com) Please enter your email addresses carefully! Incomplete addresses will delay the process.
2. Help ensure surveys are completed by the Friday, August 23rd due date.
Soon after we receive your respondent list, your respondents will receive an email message from Innubilus Group LLC with a link to the website for completing the surveys. Please alert your respondents to expect the email from “prework@innubilus.com” and ask them to complete it as soon as possible. You will also be asked to complete a “self survey” for comparative purposes, the link to which will be sent separately to you. At least three respondent surveys and your self survey must be completed by Friday, August 23rd to prepare your feedback report.
3. Additional information about the survey process.
Confidentiality.
Your data are confidential and will not be provided to anyone in your organization. Your respondents’ data will be averaged together to help preserve their anonymity, which is why there is a three-respondent minimum in order to produce a report.
Tips for selecting respondents.
The feedback questionnaire will ask about your communication, organization, collaboration, and other professional skills. Ideal respondents are employees who:
— Know you well enough to provide credible feedback about your behaviors as a manager or colleague (ideally having at least six months working together).
— Will be candid about your areas needing improvement and your strengths.
— Are people who report directly to you or work closely with you. They can be team members you lead informally, peers, indirect reports, etc. A key factor is: has this respondent worked with you enough to provide credible feedback?
— Are at least 3 in number and preferably more (5 is a good number) as one or two might decide not to respond and we will not be able to identify them.
— If it is difficult to find current employees at your own or lower levels to respond, it is acceptable to include a former colleague from a previous job or your direct manager or other senior-level person as long as they know you well enough for you to trust their feedback.
Thanks very much for your attention to this important matter. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions related to the feedback process at: prework@innubilus.com .
Sincerely,
Leland Barnecut
